Wow! Is that going to be recessed at all?
The way it works is there is a hole cut all the way through the body... each saddle rests atop its own tine, or "tone fingers" as they're marketed. Those tines all bolt to a back plate and the back of the guitar is where they're all mounted. Each string and saddle resonates on it's own and is very piano-like.
The one I'm making will be similar... Black limba, maple and rosewood neck, 2-tek bridge and a single humbucker.I want that guitar.
I had him do it up custom. Told him the E to E offset I needed.Nice!! Is this one of my baseplates or did you draw it up specific?

I already had a fanned fret neck (Novax) that I wasn't finding the right bridge for.
