Pretty impressive. No fret sprout... the pickups are a bit shit (I'm already swapping them out for some Suhrs I have on my bench), and the strings were a little loose and slinky, so I threw a set of 11-56 on that I had and that might be overkill. 10-52's are probably fine.

I don't know if it's the shape or what, but I had to dedicate a guitar strap to it to get the height correct... otherwise it felt like I was low-riding it. Once I finish rewiring the controls, I'll A/B it with my new Charvel some more.
 
Congrats again on this purchase. It is absolutely amazing what you can get from overseas these days.

I saw it... and a) I'm not a fan of quilted maple. I don't mind flame or chevron but not into the pillow-ey look.

b) I wanted fanned frets and those look straight.

c) I just got a second pink guitar a few weeks ago. Didn't figure I needed a third. :wink:

I wasn't sure if they were fanned either, mislabeled by the seller i guess? you can always have one more pink guitar tho.

yours looks like a fun little guitar to check out. esp if you're dropping some high end pickups in it.
 
If it stays and tune and intonates (does it?) that's a pretty cool. It seems appropriate you got a super artistic empty warehouse to put it in to photograph - it just looks arty.
 
The weird blue burst is wearing on my pretty quick. Actually, it's the tape line where the blue paint wraps around the top to pretend to be binding... :messedup:

Every time I look down and see the grain running through that weird sloppy paint, it bugs me.

The whole thing is probably getting painted a solid color this weekend. :helper:
