Nice! Don't see you with the PRS too often.
Until last month, never. I’ve never been a PRS fan but I ran across this one in a store and loved it. I played the first set with it and the second with my McFeely. I was actually really surprised and kinda happy that the front of house mixer (who runs sound for national acts in this room a couple of times a week) came up after the show and told me I had one of the best sounding rigs he’s heard in that room EVER. Especially with the McFeely (“that second guitar you played’).
I kinda screwed up the first set by running my stage volume too low though and I didn’t want to mess with an FOH guy I had just met earlier in the day so I waited until the break to discuss stage levels and then cranked it a bit more on the second set. My first set sounds were all kinda crunchy because I had to run my solo boost (TC Electronic Spark boost) most of the time to hear myself.
I haven’t played on such a big stage in so long that I kinda forgot how to manage my volume in a setting like this. Hopefully they’ll have us back again next year.
