Fire Sale Strat

So I recently picked up a Strat body that came off of a guitar that appears that it was in a fire.

I think that once new life has been breathed back into it that it will be pretty damn cool.

That will look really cool. I have always wanted to take a body and burn it a bit, but I know if I did it intentionally, it would turn out looking like shit and probably fall apart.

The neck's a little pristeen, but the body's got a Rory Gallagher vibe, along with the burn marks. Nice pick up!

Yes... Not the neck that I had in mind for the body but the neck that is on it is a perfect fit so there it will stay. Maybe I will let some cigarettes burn out on it to give it a better look.

That is a righteous looking Strat body. I agree that you should get some cigarette burns on the headstock like Clapton's Blackie.

Looks like who ever did the wood burning treatment didn't go too crazy w the torch so it's not over the top. Somewhat subtle.
