Craigslist Decorum?

I haven't used craigslist for years, at least not for finding musicians, but I wandered over after having some success in the "farm + garden" section and saw a couple of ads that appealed to me more than I expected. Both relatively straightforward ads, both situations I'm a slam-dunk for, at least on paper.

I've gotten zero responses, over a week later. Is this normal? Is there some unspoken expectation I should be aware of? The folks in farm + garden reply promptly.

I think some ads are just a phishing scams.

People are flaky. And spam filters and the like can cause emails to get missed. I’d send a follow up if you’re super into it just in case your message got buried.

I think CL now has an app (because of course) with an in-app messenger, so that might be an option that more people stay on top of given that email is nothing but junk mail and scams and piling up constantly.

You could find more reliable musicians by yelling down the alley behind a local rehab center.
