We lost our only two cats in the last year, including Tiger the badass feral. So we went to our local shelter (where El Diabless volunteers) and kicked the cats, so to speak. There was one big grey female
(we thought was a male) that just stared at El Diabless the entire time. Big yellow eyes. Made direct eye contact like a dog. We ruminated a day over a few choices, and then went for Mya, the grey. When we got her, the staff at the shelter was just besides themselves with happiness, She had been there over half of her life (6 years old), and returned once. She is a sweetheart, and stands on her hind legs when she wants petting , which the staff never saw her do.
