bitten by the rotary bug again

I'm leaning towards the Hammond because of the mix control. The BOSS also seems to hold it's own and get no respect, but it's difficult to tell it's true authenticity from the clips.

mmm. i like rotary sounds . I use the one in my Mobius quite a bit but it's not really the same as the Hammond I think.

I have a Leslie Model 900 with a combo preamp. I even used to cart it out for gigs sometimes. We use it a lot in the studio now. I usually use some combination of phaser/trem/vibrato to approximate those sounds. I'd like to get something more realistic, but they're all so big!

I'm kinda leaning towards the BOSS. It gets a bad rep with the TGP crowd, but the Gilmourish crowd seems to love it.

There's no mix control. I'd have to put it into a loop of my LS-2 and that actually takes more board space than the RT-20.

Oh man, you guys are killin' me. I've been usiing multiple pedals to get that swirling sound, but now I may have to take the rotary pedal plunge.

Played the Strymon Lex today. Loved it. Needs a mix knob.
