I don't really know much about the kid, but he fucked up one of my threads on HCGJ, and then he was about to do the same with the one I posted here about my playing. Fortunately the mods did a great job of cleaning things up in both forums, so kudos to Strings and Mark.
I like talking shit, by all means, but I think it's a pain in the ass when some kid you don't even know is trying to act like he's been around for years. Just be natural!

The e-mail account he used to create ICPforLifz was the same account that e-mailed Mark saying he was Mattburnside, and thus, the e-mail account used to create the craigslist ad.

People get away with quite a bit on HC and not get banned but even Derivicus took several months to get banned here and DC did it in about a month.
I'm hoping that between this episode, me banning Derivicus for what happened in December and Darial being banned on arrival that folks from HC understand that I really can't have that kind of shit over here and I don't pass out temporary bans for any of it.

It takes quite the effort to get perma-banned over at HC. I've been banned more times than I can remember. Twice for creating alts, probably three times for posting scantily-clad women, and once for saying "Jap" in a thread about whether or not it's okay to say "Jap" in a forum. idn_smilie
Well, I can think of at least one person who pron bombed the forum over there that is still a forumite. Actually, I think there are two and they are both members here.

That mikeser guy isn't a troll. He's a tool. He's been the same disagreeable prick he is now for a long time.
JJ is a troll in that he likes to take the unpopular side of ongoing arguments. He is NOT a troll in that he really believes his position and wants to change your mind.
This Chlamydia chick or whatever is a troll in that she thinks she can post anything she wants because she's a girl. Or says she's a girl. The embarrassing part is there are 20 guys stumbling over each other to respond to every inane or stupid thing she writes which proves her right.

Well, I am half serious. I totally understand why guys use tube amps for cleans. I DONT get the ss od thing, because I wont use a pedal for OD anymore. Owning all those different amps while I was trading taught me to really appreciate what a good amp will do for distortion.
But yeah, I pretty much just posted that for entertainment value.

That's kind of backwards. If a person is advocating a position they legitimately believe in (and wants to change your mind), they are not trolling. If they are taking a position they don't really support just to provoke argument, that's trolling.
