HORSIE PEDAL
Nice!
I hope it does not offend, but when I got to see them a couple summers ago, I got to stand front and center, and got a couple good close up shots. Here are the best of them.
iPhone pics so that lets you know how close I got to be.

Absolutely no way! I was with some savvy concertgoers with experience and was clued in. Plus it is common sense, and I have some amount of discretion in any case. I was trying to be very discreet even with my cell phone with the flash turned off as I did not want to upset him in any way and I was standing like 20 to 30 feet from him. Also, though I think I can clap in time, I prefer not to clap as I like to hear the band more than my own hands.I hope you didn't have your flash on. Jeff gets pissed when people take flash pics. That and when people clap out of time.
I am glad that did not happen. I tried to take shots quickly, and hold the phone "unobtrusively" so he would not even see I had a phone out, even with the flash off. A bunch of others around me were being much more blatant, and he mentioned one person who took a flash photo, but that was about it.He was complaining about flash last night, but someone woman tried to take a photo with her iPad and it turned into a 15 minute rant, in the middle of Kingpin.

You haven't really seen Jeff until you see him rant about flash cameras. The first time I saw him solo, he stopped a song and asked everyone to get there cameras out and he would pose for some pictures. He did about 10 different poses, it was pretty funny. Then he said cut it out and no more flashes.
