Well, Jax loved the Ferrari. Like an idiot, I didn't get a pic. I was too busy playing with him.Since my job has changed, my work attire has morphed from technician to managment/business. Shoes, shirts, etc.
I scared the crap out of my grandson a couple of years ago with an RC car. Felt bad. Since, he's now 5 and loves cars, so I'm doubling down.

I did treat myself to the new Epiphone that should arrive Wednesday, a couple of pair of jeans, and a couple of new bits of stage clothing:

1wife got me an ultralight carbon fiber kayak paddle. I cant wait to try it out. It should be perfect for some long distance paddle camping, which I love. The other half of the gift is the promise of one "get out of jail free" weekend this summer to get out and put it to work.

My gf got me the Blackstar Fly 3 stereo pack. Perfect practice amp but surprisingly loud for such a tiny package. I like it best with the clean channel gain all the way up with a boost pedal in front, to me that sounds a lot better than the OD channel. The delay on it is really nice as well, puts my DD7 to shame.
Other than that I just got the usual stuff -booze and chocolate.

I got a mix of things for my home kitchen and for me to use at work. The Tojiro knives are for my work knife roll, but my stepdad surprised me with a really nice Shun santoku that will probably be my main knife at home from here on out. It's not a knife I'd have picked out for myself, but it's wicked sharp and I love their handle. The Boos board has been on my list for a long time.

This is as far as I am concerned, the finest waterski made. I am absolutely blown away! Excited for some family fun camping and skiing this summer!. Will be a while yet before I can use it though.
As I said, I feel humbled and spoiled. This is way above and beyond. I am not worthy!
