I bought myself a couple Christmas presents :embarrassed: one was this vintage/antique dogleash/coat hanger off Etsy...came on friday but i waited for today to open it for the suspence :embarrassed:...anyway it's totally awesome. Came all the way from Tallin, Estonia too!

in the description was ...."In rustic vintage condition.
It is with broken ear, but he is not unhappy, belive me." :embarrassed:

interstingly packaged in a bag with some Christmasy tape and some sort of juniper leaf or something which is aromatic...if your interested in antiques i'd recommend her shop, nice and fast shipping to USA https://www.etsy.com/shop/TallinnVintage

Tried to buy myself a gift, I wanted the Vizio 40" 4k TV.

Turns out they stopped making the 40" and nobody has it for sale now :(

My TV right now is an old LG 32" 720p, so I figured the 40" would be ok, size-wise as I have a very small living room (and house).

I guess I'll have to pony up for the larger 43" Vizio 4k. That's the smallest 4k they make, now. I wanted to go with the Vizio as it got rave reviews on several different tech sites (like CNET and a few others) and has a 120Hz refresh rate, where as the Samsung and most other brands refresh at 60Hz.

It's always been a challenge to find a good place to hang the leash. It doesn't quite fit right on the key holder!

I got The Beatles: Complete Scores from my BIL. I'm pretty excited about the content, but it's a fat book with small pages and tiny font that doesn't lay flat so actually using it may be difficult. On the other hand I sight read soooooo slowly that it may not matter.

My wife's felt a bit guilty: 2 shirts that I got are to small, one belt on backorder, and the latest Ian Rankin novel to be delivered after New Year's. She did actually give me a ratchet belt, a Halo headband (for my running endeavors) and a lamp for my office.
