Anyone play a Bassbreaker?

Yes. If you want a Marshally tone without too much hump in the midrange, these will do nicely. For instance, the 007 combo compares well to a DSL5c, and even though the DSL5 is a 2-channel amp, I think the BB is a bit more versatile. While there is not much headroom, the master volume setup, along with the boost switch, will get you pretty much anything from slightly hairy clean to nice classic gain. Probably not gainy enough for modern metal, but there you go. Makes a nice amp for the house.

Spend $250 more for the 15W combo, and you can dial in pretty much anything with the 3 different gain shapes (almost like having a 3-channel amp), nd you get an effects loop.

Fender did very nicely with these amps, and I would get one in a NY minute over the comparible DSLs.
