Anyone here day trade Cryptocurrency?

It was Anonymous's Anonymous...deep...the secret renegade of the secret renegades!

More vitriol for Elon...so beloved by so many...

He didn't invent Tesla or start it...he just bought it.
There is a story about his family being half owner of an Emerald mine in Zambia which keeps coming back into the news. The worst parts are always denied though...always denied.

A handfull of countries are flirting with adopting crypto into their mainstream economies.

El Salvador announced the other day that they would begin accepting BitCoin as a regular currency. Their government went through the process required and it was passed. In a country with stability issues, BitCoin can be a catalyst for bringing more stability and definitely will help the people who are not affiliated with a bank ( typically called 'unbanked').

El Salvador then announced that they would use volcano heat/steam to power a BitCoin mining facility. That is taking advantage of what you have.

It could prove to be timely since China had reiterated their negative BitCoin & crypto stance while starting a digital yuan...uh...ok... At any rate, it seems to have ushered some of the BitCoin mining operations out of China.

Interesting developments and another stepping stone along the way that one day we'll look back on and refer to as 'when things were just getting started'.

Another couple of bookings came in this week and I've got final balances due in too. More getting pumped in once they clear.

Having a look around Binance and there's someone on p2p offering to buy BTC for nearly £46k

@smorgdonkey

Seems scummy or am I missing something - what's stopping me selling to him at that price and then buying more at the current price with the profits? Also, why would they be offering that for it when they could just buy their own at the current market rate?

you know the old saying "if it sounds to good to be true then it prtobably is" on it's own P2P is probably sketchy and throw in some bitcoin and the potential for super sleeziness is ripe

Sounds like a Nigerian prince to me but if you want to swim without a lifeguard this is what you're asking for.

I'm in no way getting involved with it, I'm just curious about why it would be an option.

I can't offer any insight on that one. It definitely seems to be an odd thing to be offering.

I tend to think that something is not on the up and up there because it seems like a fishing lure to see if it could get any bites.

The rumour mill saying that the heavyweights are hoarding the BitCoin and the Ethereum now.

I mean I wouldn't call myself a heavyweight :embarrassed:

Been a good week for the DJ dough so as planned, 50% stashed away for the feckin tax man, the other have split 40 40 20 on BTC, ETH and Ripple.

Accumulation during these down times is good. Things have really been sinking. Key is...'zoom out' on the max picture and it will make more sense.

If someone bought at the first peak in the chart ( I think it's somewhere in 2013) it would have felt horrible seeing it sink and just languish for years until the next peak (somewhere in 2017 I believe). Many would sell because they 'don't want to lose it all) but imagine the people who just left it in there. The next peak is likely to make this recent peak look small.

basically have lost everything at this point. good fucking times. dumbest person of the year award right here folks. oh well, live and learn and move on.

yea cryptocurrency....breaking the bank of honest hardworking people like Sleewell for the profit of others. Money is God!
