The Severn Trembuck offers a 2 humbucker platform with tremolo, but due to the overall masterful construction and set neck, provides more sustain and wallop than a classic S-style guitar. Fantastic playability is also a mainstay with Joe Knagg's guitars--this one plays like a dream! Really an extraordinary guitar.....

I've seen a couple Knaggs I don't mind, but he kept too much of that PRS aesthetic in some ways. Don't care for the headstock at all.
When he cuts back on some things and has a more basic looking guitar, those are the ones I would at least bother checking out.
 
the only "offset" that i will play is a Jazz Bass, so no on that.
too much quilt
wrong headstock for the body shape. (maybe too much PRS)
and for $8k+, i'd would rather just get the PRS Reserve.

Given to me, I'd rock that happily. Short of a lottery win of such magnitude I could buy a small to medium sized country, I would never drop that level of money on a guitar.
 
If I wanted a PRS I’d just buy a PRS. Also, those knobs look terrible on this guitar.
