Fender Jaguar 1975 Antigua

This one's a beauty. Serial number dates to 75. It has a bronze nut (a strange but popular upgrade in the 70s). The antigua finish looks to be non original, but it's definitely very old. Tons of checking and chipped paint for huge player grade mojo. Lots of life in the frets. Neck feels and plays beautifully. Everything else looks to be original. Comes with reissue brown Fender hard case.

love it. It confirms my thought that antigua would be awesome with a black guard.

Don't like the black block inlays. Like the color and black pickguard.

I disagree with PK, though. Needs moar switches!

Ugly in the right kind of way. I'd be shocked if it weighed less than 11 lbs. You could probably get a lot more Jaguar for the money going with something non-vintage.

It's cool, but it's a glorified pawn shop prize.

The price has me scratching my head. For the same price, I could get one of several 1970s Custom Telecasters (a MUCH more desirable model) in MUCH better shape on Reverb and have enough left over to buy a good amp...
