It’s ok. In SGs I prefer the ebony Standard, but I’d mostly likely change the pickups out.

It's a little homely looking but it's alarming how much I love this guitar. Plays like a dream, great balance, never needs anything.

I bought an SG Junior '60s model 7 years ago and was actually a bit surprised how much I liked its tone. Haven't dug it out in a while though, got lost in the herd, but we bonded.
