I took delivery of a blonde 1991 just recently. Actually, the upper bout is smaller than the one we are used to seeing on Gibson's /Guilds/etc so the lower bout does look quite large. Doesn't affect the balance in the least.

Yet somehow, Coachella, Burning Man, Bonnaroo, Lightning in a Bottle etc etc grab an enormous amount of people to see geetar heavy bands. Sure, there is the mindless techno dance for the stoners, but it has hardly if ever made the main stages as a top act. Almost always in the outlying tents...

Pffffft. Fake news. I shot at Coachella for 6 straight years and saw plenty of geetars and geetarists light up the stages there. Ask new country rock about the electric geetar. It's the only thing keeping them in bizness..

Funny, almost every new song I hear in rotation on the "local" rrrrrrrrrrrrock station seems to have a pretty prominent geetar in it. Or am I not listening to the hip stuff?

NGD update! My new BFF at Sweetwater called to update me on my order. I am around number 71 , and Epi is shipping somewhere around 65-70 geetars in the next two weeks. So assuming some people on the pre order list will just bail ( ie not actually buy as happens a lot ) I am looking at getting...
