AI is the future of independent cinema. Tiny studios are going to spring up that can spent a few millions dollars to make a film that looks just as good as a film with a big budget. They’ll even be able to create their own stars. AI stars never age, never gain weight, never take a hiatus to raise kids, etc. And they’ll never demand a $50 million paycheck like Robert Downey Junior does every time Disney needs him.

The really gross part is Hollywood/music/advertising has always been on the constant search for the right on the edge of legal 18/19 year old fresh face to be the sexy/smart face of their movie/hit single/product… and those pesky actresses/singers/models have nerve to age or get opinionated… you know…. Human things.

If they’re allowed to have a tireless, perpetually tweakable face that never ages, never appears out in public in any unsanctioned capacity, and is always loaded up with the perfect script and skills to promote whatever they’re being fed. Ugh. Gross. Like a perfectly crafted eyeball virus to try and separate you from your money. :puke:

The whole AI and IP battleground is going to be interesting. Generative AI is already walking a fine line (in many cases) regarding copyright infringements. Will companies start "owning" their own AI generated personas? If someone generates AI images of an AI persona, is that OK?
