I always assumed a server at that place must bring a giant bucket of shrimp to a table and have visions of being a walrus trainer at a zoo.

That's an oxy moron you 'clever fool'. You can ask a 'paid volunteer ' for an 'original copy' with an 'exact estimate' for all you can eat 'jumbo shrimp '. It might get 'pretty ugly'. ' Act natural' if you are met with 'the sound of silence'.
 
Okay, first I have to protest the depiction of nature’s delicious shrimp as some sort of ocean-going dung beetle in the OP. :mad:

However I would sooner spend a Friday evening pigging out at Golden Corral than do Endless Shrimp at RL. So there’s our common ground.

Here’s the Golden Shrimp I made for a Thanksgiving appetizer. They disappeared like snow in a furnace.

Why do you suppose the tail shell is left on the shrimp that's good to go otherwise? Whenever I make shrimp scampi myself, I always take those off before serving.

It’s a perfect handle. And real pro shrimpers can bite the nub right out of that last segment, leaving nothing but shell.
 
Are the all you can eat shrimp shell on? RL would make a killing if yes.

I wouldn’t eat at RL if I could help it and I avoid shrimp unless they’re US caught. The Asian stuff is tasty but the antibiotics they get doused in is carcinogenic.

And farmed shrimp tastes like shrimp shit (aka RL).
 
I drove by a Red Lobster when I was two towns outside of Boulder today. I could feel the vomit crawling up my esophagus just from being too close.
