You need a Guitorgan

"A Guitorgan is an electric guitar with electronic organ components added. An interesting instrument which is a rare find. Everything is included in the box. The only downside is the organ itself does not work since the insert in the guitar is broken. It seems to be an easy fix, essentially just replace the female insert on the guitar. The Guitar itself works beautifully. Essentially their only stands 1 small repair. 1000 OBO"

I read about these things once. The company made them out of somewhere in Texas. Austin maybe. Anyway, the company MCI made them and then kind of fell out of favor as Vox and a couple other companies jumped on the guitar organ bandwagon. No idea what these things are worth.

Seems to me that one would be better served by purchasing a Electro-Harmonix C9 or B9 Organ Machine pedal.

Always wanted to try one. But definitely one of those ideas that technology was not ready to support at the time.

The local used music store had one for a long time. I think they had it priced at about $1200.

I never even picked it up.

I remember back in the 80s, when Teisco Del Rey (Dan Forte), did an article on guitarorgans in Guitar Player Magazine. The one he reviewed (which he had bought) was a Gibson Barney Kessel clone (I always got a kick out of the fact that he said it was great for playing "Tons of Sobs"). Here he is playing the same piece of 6-string cheese at one of Deke Dickerson's Guitar Geek festivals:

Seriously, if you don't know who Kramer is ... find out. Just a tremendous artist and individual (not a lot of people play bass for the Butthole Surfers and direct an institute for the amazing Randi debunking claims of paranormal activity and produce some of alternative rock's landmark recordings and .... you get the idea).

I love the "I may change my mind in fifteen minutes so if the ad is up it's still for sale."

Can't say I want a guitorgan.
