so I walked into a Cash America pawn on a whim this afternoon, this is not the usual place I go but a friend of mine said sometimes they have some good stuff, well they didn't have much, but then something in the display case caught my eye. According to date on the tag it just came in today. It was tagged for 190, but I got it for 150!

well i never even heard of this before but i looked on Reverb sold listings and saw that was a pretty good deal so i could flip it if i wanted to but...

it sounds so damn good. best sounding traditional style reverb pedal i've ever heard! it's goin' onnnn the board!

You just gotta hit them up consistently. Most of the ones around here are trash, but there are a couple that are pretty good (this one was recommended to me by a fellow musician, and then I have the one near me where I've gotten most of the other goodies).

But even at the good ones, nine out of ten times you go in there, there's nothing worth buying. I usually go in once or twice a week since it's so near my place, and it's that kind of frequency that lets you get lucky more often...

The problem is there's no pawn shops here in North Jersey except maybe in the sections of Newark I don't feel safe in. And going to The City (NYC for those of you not from around here) isn't just a pop in and out affair.
