Without looking it up, does anybody know what this word means?

having 250 feet? Isn't sesqui 250....as in it'll be the USA sesquicentennial next year? OTOH, centennial may be a multiplier, so maybe it's just having 2.5 feet. What has 2.5 feet? Of course I'm assuming pedalian is "having feet".

This is incorrect but I love the answer.

Attempting to determine the etymology of the word led me in an entirely incorrect direction; an animal with 1 normal foot and a half foot.

isn't that mookie blaylock's middle name??

ok, I locked it up. And I listened to its pronunciation and can say it. In 10 years or so I should be able to get it in a conversation. lol
