Who has an ESP?

I've never played one but kinda like their version of a Les Paul (though there are a ton of variations I'm not yet familiar with) as well as their two humbucker teles.

Just looking for general info, recommendations, things to avoid...

The only 7 string I've ever owned was an ESP.... and I had a Lynch at one point.

Quality guitars (not PRS, but good)... kinda D shaped necks... Schecters seem fairly similiar.

I had a ESP Ron Wood telecaster, excellent guitar, great build.
There's a ESP Pot Belly guitar in TGP I've never heard of, but looks really nice. Seems like a good price too.

Never owned one but have played some nice ones. Guitar heel has/had a couple of Edwards. His 335 copy is one of my favorite guitars ever.

Forgot I’ve owned two different John Sykes from Edwards. Those were great guitars.

I’m really curious about the Eclipse and TE-II

My father has an EC 1000 that is fantastic but it's an LTD and has ungodly ugly abalone inlay and binding.
I like the push/pull pots, other than that it's an LP in my eyes. Cheaper though.

I used to lust after ESPs. I played 10+ different models to different results. The only one that was bad shouldn't have been on the floor at Sam Ash in White Plains. As a caveat, this was all in the late '80s & early '90s, so I can't speak to how much things have changed.
What stood out:
- Beefier necks than most other shreddy super strats
- more versatile than their aesthetic and even marketing (but this is the case w/ most guitars)
- sounded and played well
- reasonably priced

I know that last one has gone out the the window, in that they are now priced comparable to their U.S.-built peers. We all know the MIJ "discount" went away nearly two decades ago. LTD is slightly different and not something I've got any experience with. Based on specs, reviews, & forums, LTDs are solid to great guitars.

I have this ESP limited Which is the Asian made line. I can’t remember off the top the brand, but it has replaced pick ups from a British company. I was thinking I was going to buy some fancier pick ups, but they sound pretty good. For my Les Paul, kind of sort of knock off HH uses.

It doesn’t feel super special or anything but it feels pretty decent And plays well.

Id like to find one at a good price.
Im looking for a solid inexpensive HH or 2-P90 hardtail guitar to put 12s on and downtune.
ESP, LTD, Ibanez, Dean, Washburn, etc for $300 or less, dont want to spend a bunch.

I have a KH-2 that I got back in 2005. I call it my stunt guitar. It plays like butter, and has a very fast neck. The EMG-81's are great for high gain applications and not much else though. A couple years ago I picked up an M-II that is similar to the KH-2 in playability (but I really liked the looks of the it), but is has better clean and lower gain tones with the Seymour Duncan pickups.
