I bought a cheap 6 string banjo from Rondoh Music for my brother in law one Christmas. I think I paid $80 during a sale. My brother in law called it a banjitar because it was obviously a bit of a hybrid with 6 strings tuned like a guitar.
That electric Tele Banjitar looks like an abomination. I want to play it for the blasphemy of it all.

I like the guitar-neck-on-a-banjo-resonator instruments, but I think amplifying it would make it much worse.
