Some Arizonan you are. :snooty:
the thing with AZ fans is they are fans when the team wins and if the team sucks they bail ship faster than you can imagine. That's one of my main beefs with the D'Backs. AZ doesn't deserve to have any teams.

Go Dodgers....D'Backs can go get fucked....real FUCKED

Duck the Fodgers. I will never, ever cheer for them. I hope the D'Bags snuff them out. They have the better record against each other for this season so it should be doable.

I'm a Yankees fan, but as I told my wife, based on the regular season records the Yanks and Sox should get ousted by the Indians and Astros. These first games seem to be playing out the dominance, but it is a series, so we'll see.

Ideally I'd like the Yanks and Nats in the Series...'cause then I can try and score tickets to see them in DC (live in NoVa). The Nats have a great shot at it this year. The Yankees...not so much. But they over performed while not being ideally general managed. Cashman settled on a "rebuilding" year and didn't improve their starting pitching roster...and continued to not attempt to bolster it through trade. Part of that is on ownership...the Steinbrenner kids are far more fiscally conservative (and/or shortsighted) than their father. They aren't focused on winning, just maximizing profit in huge part through minimizing spend.

The Yankees payroll for this season was $225 million. Not exactly "fiscally conservative".

Add at least, I stress...at least...another $50 million were George still in charge. The Boss complained about the revenue sharing and "cap", but he did so raking in the biggest profits and bring home the most rings of any modern owner's tenure. For a business that has such a successful blue print of spending money to make a fuck ton of money, the Baby Bosses are very conservative.

There were no draft penalty during George's day.
