I missed the boat on her in the 90s but I saw some video on YouTube of her playing the song Rid Of Me at a festival solo on electric guitar and it blew me away... so I listened to the album Rid Of Me last night on good headphones and damn... it's so good.

Does everyone else already know this? Am I just late to the party? Or do you all find her to be sinister, execrable garbage?

Here is the video I mentioned... soo good

She’s a brilliant songwriter. But she works in a style of music that isn’t my cup of tea so I rarely listen to her albums.

“Rid Of Me” is the only one of hers I have and/or need. Great album with crisp Albini production but a little bit of PJ goes a long way with me.

I usually go to the show with my invisible rabbit…. I bring the vodka, he brings thr orange juice, and we splash some Galliano on top. :helper:

Quintessential Alterna Gurl of the 90s. Reminds me of living on Queen Anne hill and espresso, oh so much espresso...

Let England Shake is a big fav of mine. She’s put out a ton of really great LPs. I’m kinda fond of her later weirder folkier stuff.

I dug that so much before I realized it I'd been listening to all the followup videos for 20 minutes!
