Question: What 3-way blade switch for a PRS Standard 22?

Yeah, it looks like they use conventional blade switches...I'd go Oak-Grigsby or CRL over the Allparts version, but they will all work...

The Allparts and other metric switch have a smaller blade for the tip to fit than the CRL/O&G. If you want to use the stock tip, I would make sure you get one it fits.

That for your goldtop?
Yeah. A great sounding guitar that has completely crap appointments. Had to have the neck pickup fixed because the lower screw hole to keep it mounted in the pickguard was too big (tech welded a nut onto it to fix that problem) and it won't stay in tune very well. Eventually it is getting new tuners and a new nut.

I wish they wouldn't skimp on the hardware on the S2 line.... they're much more in line with the price point of most guitar players compared to where the Core models have gone. Shit... I've owned several new and even more used PRS guitars and I've never spent more than $2000 on one. I look at the new ones and so many are $3500-4000 and think WTF?

For $1000, I would take one of these over a Gibson every single time.

I've got a 2019 S2 Standard 22, and so far, it's great (properly cut nut). Haven't changed strings yet, so we'll see about the tuners a bit later.

I like the original G&L Tribute approach better. We'll make the guitar in another country, but give it the same hardware and electronics as the main line.

G&L has been making inroads here with the local working players (who are also the Kemper herd I've mentioned in another thread) since they are local and one of my buddies makes a ton of promo videos for them.

hmm...

I feel like my guitar is a cheaper model than yours.
It's always listed last among the S2's so I suppose it's possible. I surprised you are having problems with the nut/tuners. The nut is the exact same nut as the core models and it's cut and installed in Maryland. The tuners are the phase 2 tuners that used to come on the core models until the phase 3 open back tuners came along.

I don't know, other than my Les Paul is easier to keep in tune.
