What’s your typical haircut budget?

I think I pay about $16.00 at a salon close to the house, and throw in a $5.00 tip. How often....depends on my mood and the weather. I cut it more often when it is warm - every eight weeks or so. In the fall and winter - maybe every 4 or 5 months. Now that I'm back in a band...maybe twice a year.

depending on what you all pay you should consider giving at least a 15 percent tip

27 + 10 for tip. I go to sports clips and get the MVP. I really like the hot towel, face and scalp massage while getting hair washed, and they use massage your shoulders with a thingy.

When I’m having a tough day I like to get my hair did!

These days I spend $30-40 ish with the tip, roughly every 6 weeks, but it's not actually budgeted, just dependent on the barber I'm using; I've paid much more in the past, but I like my current place. They do the classic barber niceties; shave the back of the neck with a straight razor, the hot towel, etc

full release?

$20 and that includes a $5 tip at Great Cuts. I usually have one of two stylists who actually know what they're doing (and one is half crazy, which makes the shampoo portion of the program so, so good).

Every 6-8 weeks.

Whenever my girl friend ask “do you want me to cut your hair?” I say sure. I don’t give her a tip. I give her the whole thing.

I had to take my grandfather to the barbershop before my grandmother’s funeral; the first time he’d been to a barber in over 60 years.

$20-ish, haven't had it done on about a year and a half, don't see another haircut anytime in the near future either. I prefer it long.
