Friday night: my son earned his black belt in Karate:

Daughter had her first dance:

Saturday - taught and then went out for my son's month late family birthday dinner/black belt celebration.

Cool stuff for the kiddos - the young man is going to be taller than his dad pretty soon!

The usual weekend of hanging in San Marcos, golf, pickleball. Saw one of the new Disney Star Wars movies, the one with Han Solo's backstory, was entertained.

We took the scenic route back to Houston yesterday instead of the interstate. Drove through Shiner, the home of:

Worked Saturday, then home...added a mic pre and rewired my studio...watched the Supercross and chilled...

Sunday...weather sucked, cold and rainy...after morning chores and errands bunkered in and puttered while various motorsports played on the TV...

Friday, a short and easy ride on the MTB.

Saturday, 24 miles on the road bike. Feeling a little stronger. Took Mrs. T to Challenger Seven Memorial Park to walk in the woods, only to realized we have more birds in our back yard.

Sunday, rode 24 miles on the fixed gear with people who primarily ride spins bikes. We're working to make them safer. Grilled some top serloins that didn't impress me.

Friday - Made dinner for the kids, watched Infinity Wars to refresh my memory, went to my neighbor's to jam.
Saturday - yard work, chilled
Sunday - @Guitar Heel stopped by with his lady friend to pickup some guitars I worked on for him.

Friday - I had the day off. Carol left for a family memorial service in New Jersey, I stayed home with Smokey. About 3:15 I got a tornado alert on my phone. We didn't get a tornado, but we had thunder and a hailstorm with marble-sized hail. In the evening I filmed another episode of Creative Connections, this time with a fabric collage artist.
Saturday - Went to the local library to take photos for the new CD cover. The young lady who took my pictures with Dreamer took the pictures. I had some basic staging ideas and she brought her eye and ideas to it. I haven't seen the results yet, but I think there will be some great shots. I was happy to see that the meeting room was being used by some younger folks who play D&D there every Saturday morning, and the room next door had a group of older women knitting. The library is truly a community resource. Then I worked a shift at the craft coop before going home to wait for Carol to return.
Sunday - I went to church in the morning; it was my turn to be an usher. After that I mostly chilled out.

Friday - Finished up phase one of my front yard improvement project. It was game night so we played Monopoly. I got clocked....

Saturday - Early AM run. Took Step-daughter to skating lessons, then practice time. Ran a few errands. Got an email telling me one of my two acoustics at the repair guys house was finished. I'll pick that up on Monday.

Sunday - Early AM run, then off to church. It's also our second wedding anniversary. Cleaned up around the house, then went to an anniversary dinner as a family. The nice dinner will be next weekend. No big anniversary plans because we are saving to go to a big skating competition in October (our get away for the year). Watched the new GOT episode - holy crap! Epic!

Friday - worked a bit late, took a neighbour who has just finished a round of radiotherapy out for dinner. Went back to our local for a few beers.

Saturday - pottered around the house, finished my Lego Mustang then local gig at night. In the hot tub with a bottle of wine for 1am.

Sunday - received feedback from gig already so updated website, visited my gran, met my dad and uncle for a few pints then went to the football. Home, had some slow cooked African peanut curry for dinner - I thought it was great but could be spicier, Mrs JBJ said it was like baby food. hot tub then early bed.

iday - worked from home. I was supposed to go to Toronto for a monthly in-person meeting, but everyone else decided to web conference instead. Had a bath and in my pjs by 7:30. Rock n Roll, baby.

Saturday - Picked up the New Yorker from storage and poked around my broken forums and other web sites.

Sunday - did some more work on my forums and moved my guitars up out of the basement.
Somehow, my racks that were full in the basement ended up with three, maybe four empty spaces.
I did not pack any away in cases.

Went to a Nats game on Friday. The weather cooperated nicely.

Dinner on Saturday with the GF and her family. Got a nice fire pit going.

Enjoyed spending time with @Chad and his wife on Sunday. The guitars he worked on turned out great!

Then went to a high school poetry slam at the Kennedy center. Really impressive kids.

Friday -

Saturday - Walked the dog followed by World Taichi Day.

In the afternoon, played a gig.

Sunday - Walked the dog followed by morning Taichi. At noon our Taichi instructor had a class on herb education. Just chilled in the evening when I got home.

It was the best of weekends it was the worst of weekends (ok an overstatement but it wasn't great)

Friday started off awesome. Went to the Sharks game, found free street parking (a rarity near downtown). And went to the game. Still buzzing after game 7's craziness on Tuesday night. Friday's game Sharks won. This was the best of time. On the way home, caught up in a multi car collision (4 cars I was number 2). Not clear to me exactly what happened. The guy in front of me said a guy cut him off slammed on the brakes (initiating the multi car) and took off. I don't think the first guy hit that guy but I'm not sure. My car is a 1997 Acura Integra GS-R. I love that car but it's worth probably 2K max. I got an estimate today that was 4K :(. No injuries, my neck got snapped pretty good when the Jeep behind me hit me but I was fine, probably thanks to the 3Xweek neck exercises I do because of spinal stenosis.

That put a damper on the rest of the weekend. The timing is bad, we are heading out of town for a while Wednesday and if there are claims etc...in my view it should be no fault to anyone in the crash but sometimes it doesn't work out that way.

Did manage a long ride Sunday which was a beautiful day.

Fri. On Wednesday the Cougar blew a hub bearing and came home on a flatbed. Thursday I took it apart and ordered parts. Friday was put it together day. Replaced a leaking trans/axel seal. New control arm, bad bushings and ball joint. Got the new hub from the machine shop, where they pressed all the parts from NAPA together at 6 p.m. and busted my ass to get it together before dark since snow was coming in the A.M.

Sat. Snowed so I just laid around the house all day. Wife got home from work and I took her to church in the Dells. Got coffee at Starbucks to make up for the one I didn't get on earth day.

Sun. Went over my work from Friday just to make sure everything was tight. Wife worked a double shift so I went up north and hung around with the kid for a while. Came home and tried to figure out what I miss on TV when my wife is watching the crappy shows she watches. Found out I really am not missing much.

Sunday: drove up to D.C. for the week at a user conference. Spent 2 hours stuck in n traffic on I-95 before even getting to D.C. The highlight of the week may be hanging with @Guitar Heel if all goes as planned. (I know: God, I need a life)
