Dexter Inferno
Serious error
Think I've posted about it before, I joined Baard Slagsvold's band (he's known as a keyboard player for Motorpsycho as well as a few other bands over here).
Ranges from singer-songwriter type of stuff to jazz, punk and rock'n'roll. And he's opened my view to incredible lyrics - the one area where I have zero talent myself.
I played and did backing vocals on about half the album, would have done more if I'd had a double bass - which is obviously my next move.
But more than anything. Playing with professionals in a proper studio over a couple of weekends in February is some of the most fun I've ever had.
And then having the stuff you've done mixed and mastered by the Norwegian answer to CLA (without the black t-shirt) is just bucket list stuff., I've actually worked with a big piece of Norwegian music history and he's a great friend of mine.
Added here is the big rocker, closing out the album. A Stones-inspired rocker with brass included. And the most fun I've ever had playing bass..
Lyrically Baard telling his ex to fuck off. =D
