Anyone here got any experience using Midi with any of these, specifically getting a wah effect hooked up to an expression pedal?

Got a birthday soon and might be getting either a GP-5 or GP-50 as a present. Reading the blurb, I think the GP-50 is capable of the above but the GP-5 isn't but it would be nice to confirm how versatile/restrictive the Midi implementation is on each from people here if someone's got real world experience with these.

@GilmourD Unfortunately, the 5 and 50 are the ones in viable price range as a present, otherwise those and the full fat 200 would be getting seriously considered.

FYI, the numbering of models isn't as intuitive as one would like. The 150 and 180 actually have newer tech in them than the 200.

Also, on your side of the pond it looks like the 50 is £109.99, the 150 is £149.99, and the 180 is £159.99 at Anderton's.
