If this shows up in a local store, I might have to renounce my "no new guitars" vow.

I'm already picturing myself playing that. It looks real good on me. This is a problem.

The Telecaster is all I need. The Telecaster is all I need. The Telecaster is all I need. The Telecaster is all I need.

Should've just gone to bed. Don't know why I had to check on the Godin site. Stupid.

That’s hot, eh? But for $1,500 I want independent volume controls.

I really prefer 1 volume, 1 tone. I've been eyeing the Montreal Premieres for a while and almost pulled the trigger a couple of weeks ago when Sweetwater offered them for under $1000.

But then I thought, "Nah. It's not perfect. It needs P90s to be perfect." And I figured that would keep it from ever tempting me again.

Those Canadian bastids.

Now I just have to hope nobody near me gets one in stock. Especially not a red one. That would be bad.

I'm not gonna lie, that is tasty.

And you, my friend, have a serious case of GAS!

There is no known cure. Well, only one cure, but it's gonna cost you.....about $1500, actually.

That's pretty sweet looking..

Fortunately for me it looks similar enough to my Reverend to quell any possible gas pain

I want a Montreal Premier with a one HB and one P-90...I just can't figure out which should go where, but I'm leaning toward a Tele like set-up with morepowerful HB in the bridge. But I also don't want to pay for it, because...well, I can't.

I like the ones with that Fishman bridge that gives you piezo acoustic tones to play with as well!

damnit -- this thread started me looking at Godins (I've owned two different LG P90s), and I found this:

Great electric OR Acoustic tones. I don't currently have a (6-string) A/E -- I've been thinking about installing a pickup in my Martin SWOMGT, but this would allow me to leave that one alone...

A local shop had one on the wall for a while. I played it several times and darn near bought it when he marked it down. It'd be a killer stage guitar. Light, plays good and does convincing electric and acoustic sounds. It's not gonna make anybody a rock god but for versatility, it's among the best out there.
