U CHOOZ: Should I get a gold anodized pickguard for my white Strat?

I have an anodized guard @Guitar Heel gave me but it is an 11 hole guard, and my Strat's a '57RI with the 8-hole.

It would also be a good time for me to shield the cavity with the shielding tape I got from @RyanNo3

I never really liked the look of the anodized pick guards. The only color I ever considered it with was on a black guitar, and that might be because I went to Purdue and it is a school colors kind of thing.

I definitely dig it, but that one is on a transparent white while yours is an Oly. Might look different.
The picture though is mega hot IMO.
