This weeks BT Jam - Herringbone!

Not ignoring this Mark... I have sat down several times - but I have not recorded anything that I would want to share with you guys :facepalm: Not giving up tho.
 
I need to play one, too but I've been really swamped....maybe I'll get one in tomorrow if I get a break in my teaching schedule...
 
I downloaded this a few weeks ago, but alas, haven't gotten around to doing anything with it yet.
 
I should be practicing this afternoon, but can't get motivated at all. So I decided to take a crack at this one too. Like the funk jam, it's just a quick run through, and has a few mistakes, but there were a couple of things I liked in there. Got me playing something a little different than what I usually play anyway, which can only be a good thing.

Would enjoy hearing some of you other guys give it a shot too, if anyone feels like it and has time.

Here we go..:embarrassed:...it's a one take, and I tried to play as honestly as possible..something I've been working on..by "honest" I mean I tried to play what I felt and heard in my head without knowingly referring to any scale/theory I know..of course I know I was doing that anyway..I was just trying to not be aware of it!

Not my best playing technically I know, but I haven't been awake long and I just tried to create a vibe of sorts. :facepalm:

Thanks Mark!..wow, I guess sometimes just going for it works. :). In our songs, I don't do much guitar solo stuff if any..so still trying to find "my" voice when playing this type of thing.

Very cool! I liked it a lot. I would love to be half that inventive, and definitely wish I could pull off stuff even nearly that fast. Mine would get boring pretty quick, but I could listen to you go on for a long time and stay interested.

Thanks jayhitz!, I've been inspired by people both here and on HC to practice my butt off for the last year or so.
