The white guitar phase 2

I got black pickup rings and plastic bits to trim it. I even found black speed knobs that go to 11. A Les Paul style pickguard may find its way in as well.
Headstock will be black with yellow truss rod cover.
Fuck yeah!

Love the yellow! Much better than white.

Looks awesome EG.

That stuff works real good. If you do decide to dye, don't even bother with painter's tape, it seeps right through. Just use a Q tip to apply.

@Bob411 Have you done it before?
I'm wondering how well it would work on my light colored board.
I do have a few scraps I could experiment with.

A little progress tonight. The headstock is black now. I took the black over the edge as well.

And the yellow is finished on the control cover plate.

I can't in all seriousness put some kind of advertising type logo headstock using a made up name. I'm not in business to make guitars and I have nothing to advertise up there. Acme seemed perfect. @Foo always comes through in the 9th.

And Acme on the Warner brothers cartoons often used silly name/number designations like the good old Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator and all, so I picked E(electric)G(guitar)X(experimental) -13(year of construction)

Seems stupid enough to me.
EG the j bass is fricking nice now. i love that guitar. the new pickups sound bootiful. thanks for working on it.

Damn. You're making me think about going yellow instead of blue on the Tele.

Cleaned up and touched up a bit. Not too bad. Once the white primer is on there, it doesn't take much yellow at all to cover it totally.
