Cool...I was hoping SJ would win one at home so the Pens can win the cup back at home..

I will take Friday off work because of the local celebration on Thursday evening...

Well I guess you aren't much of a hockey fan then  Any hockey fan would want 4 more games, they have been excellent games all 3 so far. Two OT's and one won with 3 minutes left in the 3rd. That's good stuff right there.

One thing I don't get about the Pens, they have continued to outshoot everyone pretty much this postseason yet the scores don't match the shot domination. I know some of it is goal tending but some of appears to be related to shot blocking which they are doing very well. They did get pounded pretty good last night, see if that has any affect.

Looking forward to 4 more barn-burners I hope...after the Cup is over it's a long wait until Aug

Um..Ya...I'm a fan of hockey and always feel that same feeling that some people feel when winter begins to set in when it's all over..

Above and beyond that though is my desire for the Pens to win,period..

I've got military photo people on guard waiting for a repeat of 2009..

Pens must win tomorrow...

And that is basically how St. Louis won the series against the Blackhawks. Even though the Blackhawks outshot the Blues an average of 36-29, and actually scored one more goal over the whole series, the key to St. Louis winning was the overall defense - the defensemen were blocking shots like nobody's business, and Elliot was out of his mind in goal for most of the series. Even with all that said, the Hawks could have tied Game 7 late in the third when Seabrook fired a shot that hit BOTH posts, and kicked out :(.

Ahhhhh, the NHL Playoffs: there is NOTHING like them.

As always...Looking forward to tonight's game..

I hope the refs stay out of the way like they did last game...

I couldn't stop laughing....Which is actually a good break from how I'm feeling as of late...

Now...On with the game..............

Obviously anything can happen, but looks like the Penguins have it. They are definitely outplaying SJ and deserve to win.

I just hope they lose at home next game so Pittsburgh fans and TP are annoyed

This...particularly the annoying TP part

Pens are the better team and have been since the allstar break so this isn't really a surprise. I think Tampa was able to give them trouble because they are as fast. SJ just cannot handle the speed over the course of 60 min. I'll be sorry if it is over in 5 as I said before since I want as much hockey as I can get. But unless there is a epiphany for the Sharks they look like a beaten team. Yesterday was the most important game of their season and some of the players (Pavelski, Couture most notably for me) did not seem to show that urgency. I feel bad for Thornton, it would have been nice to see him get a cup. He's going to end up like Marcel Dionne (the kids won't remember him), great play first ballot Hall of Fame but never won a cup. Thornton is the same and maybe Marleau too. This was their last shot I think. It's tough to go through the west 2 years in a row.

I don't know why you guys are ganging up on me...LOL..I kid..All is fair in love, war and hockey..

I've got a shit load of old hockey cards and a couple of Marcel Dionne..I remember him\watched him play..

Thornton, and many other SJ players,I feel a little bad for...

But not all that bad...

AND...It ain't over 'til it's over..

I just hope the Canadian teams can get out of the gutter...

It's sad.

Well...here's the thing (and the main reason I can't ever cheer for Pittsburgh):

They were about to lose their team when they drafted Mario.

They were about to lose their team again when they drafted Sid. So the team was for sale and a Canadian bid on it. He even put a $10 million deposit on it.

It was really cool because the buyer was going to move the team to Hamilton. Yeah! Another team in Canada!

Hold on there...greasey Bettman stepped in and declared "if you buy this team you must leave it in Pittsburgh for 7 years".
That was a deal breaker and the buyer walked away from his $10 million deposit.

To cheer for Pittsburgh is to support Bettman and I would go as far as to say anti-Canadian.

So I am still hoping for San Jose. If San Jose can't pull off the big comeback then it will be a wasted NHL season.
