I have dinner every night this weekend for my girlfriend's birthday, various friends and family members attending.

Tomorrow I'm going to go test drive some cars, see if any stand out enough to purchase.

Sunday will be laundry, hang out, watch the Olympics type of day.
 
I have a gig tomorrow night...going to finally get to take my son to his Karate class tonight to see what that is all about. Not too much else on my plate...
 
Gig tonight and party tomorrow. Still recovering from Pragestock.....I wonder if there will be ham at the party tomorrow? nom nom nom......
 
I have two gigs tomorrow with two different bands one hour apart. Getting torn down at one and over to the next one will be the real trick - not a lot of time to spare and I really do not know the load in/load out ease of the first show. No idea what I am doing on Sunday yet....

I am still recovering from Pragestock - and having to get up at 3:30 AM this morning did nothing to help the general lack of sleep.
 
Lucinda Williams is playing at a park not far from me tonight. Maybe go to that. Mostly work this weekend save for going to my uncles funeral on Sunday. He was 91. A damn fine run.

I'll be doing as little as humanly possible for 3 weeks. :grin:

Well, except drink a whole lot of beer and single malt. :embarrassed:
 
I'm in the middle of catering a baby shower for 20. Cafe Mocha cupcakes on the menu. Chocolate espresso cake with coffee buttercream and a chocolate covered coffee bean on top.
And then a bacon, tomato, avocado tricolor rotini pasta salad, some sandwich roll thingies, fruit and cheese tray, etc.

The weekend starts early for me. I'm preparing for a weekend of GAS. A friend and I are driving up to Kalamazoo, MI to tour the Heritage guitar factory tomorrow. It used to be the Gibson factory at 225 Parsons Street. We are meeting a group of people from the Heritage forum. They do this every year. Tomorrow night will be a night of jamming with the peeps. Good times.

this weekend in my only weekend for about 2 months with no gigs so I'm going to kick it with my family.
 
My wife and kids are going to FL/GA to visit family and find us a house. I'm staying home to pack and have a garage sale to sell all of this extra crap laying around.
How did we accumulate this much stuff?

Weekend started just over an hour ago for me.

Friday, we're taking the car back to the dealership to get detailed and tinted.

I have to repack the bearings on the front wheels of the NewYorker sometime this weekend. So, Saturday is spoken for, I guess.

If I get that done, we might enter the Cars and Kites show at Canal Days in Port Colborne.

Monday is a holiday here. So, it's a 4 day weekend for me.
 
Yup - first weekend in awhile with no plans. Daughter's in LA for a few days (Disneyland today - she's an 18-y.o. Disney freak...), and I have no obligations! party0

Why do people need to rehearse dinner?
Isn't that really just dinner? Like dinner the day before dinner?
I've been doing that every day of my life. Let's just do this thing!!!
 
Friday/payday is always a good thing. Tonight we're doing dinner with friends as a joint b-day celebration, then just go home and watch some TV.

Tomorrow I'll probably clean up the house a bit while the gf has a hair appointment, then we may visit friends who just had a baby. No plans besides that, perhaps check out the new Batman flick.

Sunday we're supposed to get pretty bad storms so I'll probably just hang in and get stuff done around he house. Going to the beach in a week and need to prepare. May try to learn the remaining songs for the one off Viking gig.
 
I think we're going to head to Kanawha State Forest on Saturday morning to get a run in, but there's supposed to be scattered storms starting Saturday afternoon, so we might just stay home and watch movies the rest of the weekend.
