NASA's Johnson Space Center was somehow snubbed and did not receive one of the retired space shuttle orbiters, but managed to at least get a full scale mockup. It will be delivered via barge Friday, off loaded Saturday, and rolled to it's new home. My Dad lives down the street from the old loading dock that hasn't been used since the 70's, so we'll get a great view. There is actually a "Shuttlebration" to make the best of the occasion. The all astronaut group, Max Q will be playing a gig there as well.

Hokay, exam for life insurance completed. First time I've had blood drawn that I'm aware of. Not too bad. I wouldn't want to do it every day, but not too bad. Now I'm starving. What's for lunch?
 
Not much planed.
Lots on the to-do list still, but it's supposed to rain all weekend here.

I need a hair cut.
I still haven't swapped my summer rims and tires for the winter rims and tires.
Finish WAHLTER #2.
Finish my next pedal creation.
...and a ton of other stuff that won't get done. :)
 
You might luck out...the 5pm forecast is showers tonight, cloudy tomorrow, cloudy Sunday and possible showers late Sunday
 
We have a massive BBQ going on Sunday afternoon. I will spend all this afternoon and evening and most of tomorrow and Sunday Morning getting the yard read, cooking food, buying stuff, running back to the store for the stuff I forgot to buy on my last trip, etc.....
 
EG and myself have some projects to work on at mom's house. There should be power tools involved so I'm sure somebody is going to the emergency room this weekend.
 
Oh, my! Just 2 sips, and I now know why people don't mind spending a little more money for so much more.

Lulz. I might join ya. Gonna try to find the time to fire up the old Lincoln welder that's definitely older than me.

Meet you at the emergency room. I'll be the guy who's bleeding.

I could use more tree stands for hunting while you have the welder fired up. Falling out of tree stands and dropping rifles so as to get shot in the foot are a couple of my favorite ways to hurt myself
 
Might be a bit of a wait on those tree stands, Foo, as I've never welded anything before. 'Course, if you enjoy falling out of them, I'm sure I could tack something together for ya :lol:
