I didn't realize it was Friday until I saw this thread..

Tire swap is still on the to-do list from last weekend.
If I get that done, I'll call it a successful weekend.
 
3 day weekend! WOOHOO!

gonna get plastered tonight.
tomorrow, I gotta ship some toys to teh US, Mexico, and the UK
gonna be ouchie, methinks

SUnday is driving day thru the town where I gotta take my raod test.
monday will likely be "get plastered day" again.
gotta squeeze some recording in there somewhere too.
 
Reggae night on BBC4 is the shit. Makes me wish I was back in Amsterdam :facepalm:

The Old Putney is going down rather nicely too. :thu:

And I've also managed to organise a date for next Friday and an audition for a wedding band.

It's been a pretty feckin productive Friday night :grin:

I used to have 7-day weekends, apart form the band.
I kinda miss it, but it's nice to have some money too. :lol:
 
Chilling out from 5 days of intense work in the sun last week, a Saturday of Topanga Days, a Sunday of plumbing repair for a friend, a Monday with a 4 mile skateboard ride and 38 mile bike ride on the beach bike path, and then two more days of work in the sun... I think a trip to the skate park is on my agenda for today...
 
My parents are driving out tomorrow morning and staying the weekend, first visit to my new place. :thu:

Arriving today...
NASA's Johnson Space Center was somehow snubbed and did not receive one of the retired space shuttle orbiters, but managed to at least get a full scale mockup. It will be delivered via barge Friday, off loaded Saturday, and rolled to it's new home. My Dad lives down the street from the old loading dock that hasn't been used since the 70's, so we'll get a great view. There is actually a "Shuttlebration" to make the best of the occasion. The all astronaut group, Max Q will be playing a gig there as well.

I've got a physical for my life insurance application today, so I'm really looking forward to that :annoyed: Other than that, who knows. I'd like to have some spare time this weekend to fire up the welder and start getting comfortable with it, but I've no idea if that will happen or not.
 
I'm leaving work at noon to go down to Philly to spend a weekend with friends. Got Phillies tickets for tonight's game which as usual appears will be rained out.

Tomorrow I'm attending my second Meat Fest, which involves the grilling/smoking/roasting/etc. of every type of meat imaginable coupled with kegs of Dogfish Head beer... should be an awesome time, hopefully with decent weather.

Coming home Sunday, probably will want to lounge around and let my liver detoxify. :embarrassed:
