I'm going to Philly this weekend, a bunch of friends are getting together which is very rare nowadays since we live all over the place. Annnnnnd of course the weekend that works for all of us turns out to be the weekend that a noreaster is ripping up the coast to dump a foot of snow on southern PA.:facepalm:

Went out Xmas shopping with my mum, had lunch with her, my sis, and sis' BF. Now I'm at LMA getting ready for a band rehearsal and cleaning my studio for tomorrow, where we have the big Christmas in Loveland shindig. After that?

DRINK.

I have a doctors appt. at noon then am going out to track drums and bass on a friend's project.

Work has been horrible, terrible cold I can't shake, dad came down with Bell's Palsy, girlfriend's car broke down last night. Just one thing after another.

Worst week ever is an exaggeration, but I'm glad it's over.

I've had those weeks.

Isn't Bells a temporary condition? One of our teachers had it for about a month after he let an ear infection go too long...

Most people recover in a few weeks or a few months. I just feel bad for him because he retired at the beginning of the year and now he's miserable because half his face is paralyzed.

Yeah...I can see how that would be a drag. For most people retirement is a period of adjustment to start with and this would just make it harder...

My mom had that. It slowly faded, but took awhile.

Indeed.

Tonight I'm going over to my gf's parents' house, final night of house-sitting before they get back from their cruise. Probably just lay around and watch TV, especially Conan's last night of the Tonight Show. :(

Tomorrow night the gf is taking me to dinner, then we might either go to the casino or downtown for a drink or two.

Sunday is NFL Championship day and I'll be planted to the couch all day for that. Might get some laundry in or something, but not much else. :embarrassed:
