This afternoon I get to make the final arrangements for our landscaping. Mrs W is being treated to an overnight spa trip by her sister and mom for her upcoming B-day so It'll just be me and the kids Saturday night...
 
I actually have the weekend off! I hoping to drive up to Echo Lake tomorrow and see the aspens turning. It's my only chance this year because the next three weekends are all booked up....

Half day at the office. Packing up and driving to Utica for the weekend. I plan on going to the Turning Stone Casino tonight for some Blackjack. Tomorrow the wedding doesn't start until 6:30 so I'm guessing we'll go to Saranac Brewery or something during the day. Sunday driving home somewhat early to try and catch some football.

Then my day is over.

No gigs this weekend at all - will be working on some classical arrangements this afternoon for a wedding ceremony in November. I'll be blowing the dust of my 1982 Juan Orezco nylon string and and relearn some old compositions.

Tomorrow the wife goes to pick up our new additions at the ranch. . .a pair of Fjord Quarter Horse crosses 8)
 
I got in around 1;30 or so. up at 5:30ish with the baby. I'm tired.


Taking the day off today to hang out with my brother this afternoon....should be a nice day....

FAIL.

It's an unusually cold and rainy day here, snowing just north of us. Tonight I'm taking the gf out to dinner, then going out to see our bassist's other band play. Saturday we're preparing crock pot chili and watching college football. Sunday we'll be eating more chili and watching more football... exciting stuff.
 
I've gotta water our new sod (YAY!) return a rented tool to home depot, drop my daughter off at her grandmothers and then help out at my sons school until noon and then meet the landscaper to pay him... all before noon.

Oh yeah. It smells like "diaper changing time" again :embarrassed:

Not sure what I'll be doing tonight and tomorrow. Probably holding down the couch and watching some football. I originally had some plans, but they're cancelled due to the crap weather. Sunday I'm going to see my folks.

I can see myself sleeping a lot this weekend.

That's cool, the only caveat is that I need the cables by next Saturday, so I'd prefer Priority shipping from USPS.
 
Today is the first time I've really left the house since Sunday... I have been squirt free for about 24 hours and my coughing has subsided almost completely. I also feel kinda high from all the Nyquil! :embarrassed:

My sister is meeting me in 10 minutes and then we're going to IKEA. After that we have to pick up her boyfriend from the county lock-up so he can go to work :facepalm:. After that I have no real plans. I want to get some recording done this weekend.
