It's only supposed to be 101° this weekend, and warmer next week. . .

Just less humid......:biggrin:

About 93 today. We really have not had a HOT day yet this summer - very unusual. I don't think we have broken 95 yet....

I still check the weather in Denver everyday and y'all have had it pretty nice this summer overall.

We've had two weeks of unseasonably cool weather and low humidity for us. I'd certainly not want to kick it in 101° temps, but the nasty muggy humidity we normally get is way worse. :(
 
My co-worker called off today and it's been busier than usual today. Looking forward to the weekend though. Tonight I watch Cliff Lee's first outing as a Phillie, tomorrow we're going to a fancy restaurant and the casino for my gf's b-day, Sunday golfing with a friend. Much to look forward to, just gotta get through the day.....

Tomorrow I'll do dishes and do some general cleaning and shit in between working on scheduling issues.

Sunday we're supposed to play D&D so pretty much nothing will get done that day. :embarrassed:
 
So my wife and I are taking over a business, starting tomorrow. I'm the webmaster for said website, and was planning to do a graceful switcheroo to my hosting space that nobody would notice. The current/former owners took down the website today (canceled their hosting account, really). :facepalm:

Oh well. . .

Going to the horse races at Del Mar. Should be fun although my top bet will be $2 :embarrassed:


Since Friday started at 1am with police cars in front of my house when I got home from rehearsal this morning I'll be curious to see how the weekend unfolds.
 
I have band practice tomorrow from 8:embarrassed:0AM to 1:embarrassed:0PM...

Then Sunday from 2:embarrassed:0 - 5:embarrassed:0PM....

It sucks, but we need to rehearse and the next two weekends are not gonna work. So maybe one more rehearsal before our first show after this weekend...

8am? What kind of self-respecting rocker has 8am rehearsals? I usually don't even go to bed until 7:30am.:tongue:

One of the guys in one of my bands other band (which I was in for about year) is having a record release party tonight that I am going to and then a band my wife is working with is doing a set at a different club about 1am and then the guitar player and bass player will be crashing at our place.

I will not be up at 8am. :tongue::tongue::tongue::tongue:
 
I think we're gonna get my wife's dad to watch the place saturday night for us, and we're gonna head down to Santa Cruz & Monterey. Hit up the Boardwalk tomorrow night, then to the Aquarium on Sunday morning. Then be back here by dark.

Should be fun, but not much rest involved :tongue:
