Bought a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 and it comes with a bunch of plugins. And one of those plugins is the basic version of Antares Autotune.

I haven't felt this indecisive since I tried to sign up for college classes in senior year. Help.
 
Honestly, at this point, i'm having second thoughts not because of autotune itself but because i've only ever heard horror stories about iLok being a pain in the ass
 
iLok is far from the villain it's portrayed to be...

I have and use the dongle, which at this moment has almost 300 licenses on it...I previously used my email address...whatever you do, don't use the cloud because nothing will function when cloud access is down...

As far as AutoTune, pitch corrective software is pretty much a norm in this era, and if used wisely and moderately is a perfectly acceptable tool...

How does using my email differ from the cloud?
 
So i decided to install the stuff...and it wants to run a BAT file, that i can't find, and can't vet, and i know for a fact some of these DRM schemes put a god damn rootkit on your computer. so I think i'm just gonna say get thee behind me, satan and move on.
