Don't think I've seen Dad's since we left the Midwest in '81!
I think it might be a zombie soda.It says it's made in Mukatalo sp? WA now. I scored it at Costco the other day, a 12ver but I've seen it at Total Wine and Liqour too. It is good root beer. It is also the first soda i have purchased since mayb e late 2018 because i almost never drink soda anymore. I was a soda junkie growing up and in to my early 40's but about 5 years ago i stopped cold turkey when i had the kidney stones and switched to chugging water through the day

I went on a root beer jag a few years back and tried everything I could find. Most were mediocre. Dad's is all right, but I rarely see it around here. Sprecher is probably the best of the mass-market HFCS root beers. St. Arnold's is good, but frequently unavailable. A&W has some nostalgic appeal for me, but it's a pale shadow compared to the classic flavor from the taps at the old A&W drive-ins, and is best avoided except in case of a root beer emergency.

That alcoholic "Not Your Father's Root Beer" is all-out terrible. Tastes like store brand root beer with a shot of rubbing alcohol in it.

I have spoken.
