I think I'd rather have the dog nut me instead of the plumber. The good news is that since its under my basement slab, the homeowner's insurance covers it.

That only leaves me with $1,000 to pay. :facepalm:

I thought we were going to have a large repair last night when the gas company had to come out for our carbon monoxide alarm....luckily it was just a false alarm...

It appears I'll be the proud owner of 40 feet of new sewer pipe. All it costs me is 2 new SG Classics. For that, I'd be willing to go piss in the neighbor's bushes but the says that's bad form. Damn women.

Ouch,. Did I say that yesterday?

I just got notice yesterday that if I don't replace my perfectly functioning roof the insurance company is canceling my homeowners insurance. My agent even came and inspected the house and said that it was fine but some bozo in a cubicle a few thousand miles from here wants me to spend $8000 this year. :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
 
Just hand him your bank book. That will keep him happy for a day or two.

Put on some GHS strings the other day. Anybody tried them? Thoughts?
My brother gave them to me at Christmas. They seem very elastic and stretch a lot.

I tried them about 2 times, I absolutely loathe them :annoyed:


They get dull really fast IMO :embarrassed:
 
That's not good. I do like the feel but if the get cruddy fast, they're out.
Probably return to my Markleys soon. They last me a couple of months before they're crapped out.

So tell me about Darkcheef. I know you a little from HC but not that well.
What are you into? The Dead perhaps? I'm a bit of a fan myself though not hard core by any means. I have a handful of studio albums and a few live recordings as well.
I have one buddy who has thousands of hours of shows he's traded for over the years. He's pretty intense about it.

I'm pretty much into alot of music, but right now I am trying to beat out this hardcore Earth binge I have been stuck in for about 3 days

Why do we not want to know your gear? Can't get much cheaper than mine.
But that's the great thing about guitar...you can get great sound nowdays with inexpensive equipment.
I also play trumpet and there's no way you can make a shitty horn sound nearly as good as a nice one. Fortunately, you don't need a big collection of horns. One or two will do.
