Tell me about Freddy’s burgers

Dogue in teh desert
I have one in walking distance , been there about 6 months and I was thinking about trying it but was hesitant because the prices and now I see nothing but horrible 1 and 2 star reviews…..things like wilted lettuce, a half full cup of cheese curds pencil thin cold fries, burger Patties the thickness of a Kleenex….

so what is the story with these guys ?

They are a Steak and Shake clone. Decent steak burgers, iffy fries. Their shakes and ice cream offerings are pretty good. I avoid Freddies as a rule though.

Sorry, not any Freddy's in the great metropolis of Kempton or, anywhere else I've ever been.

My son likes it because you can get ice cream there. I prefer Culver's.
Culver’s is good, I like the Swiss and shroom burger.

I decided to give Freddy the finger…..12 plus for a fast food burger combo is a bit much and also my stomachs kept debating between a hoagie and Mexican food but ultimately I ended up making ramen ( went to the Asian market the other day) and a small bowl of kimchi because I didn’t want to drive anywhere

There's one of those spaces in Jacksonville with an abandoned Winn Dixie grocery store. The rest of the stores change about every 6 months.
Is this curse because of Winn Dixie, or Dave Matthews?
I've been waiting for an opening to bring up Daves creepy role in 'Because Of Winn Dixie'.

Dave plays a boozy, ex-con drifter/musician/ town stranger. Here he is singing a tune to a young girl he has alone in his room.
I took my daughter to see this film when she was younger. I let her know if any adult guy tries coaxing her into his home, you run as fast as you can and tell dad. I'd bust that damn guitar over his head...
Over reacting? You be the judge.

I love Freddy’s. Their burgers are very close to smash burger. The fry sauce and seasoning rules

I like Freddy’s a lot. Also, the kids burger is a full size burger, so if you just want a single patty you can eat for $5. $8 if you upgrade to a shake.
