Telecaster SG hybrids

So I was musing about the upper fret access of an SG and the indubitable sonic excellence of the Telecaster, and got to thinking if anyone had ever mashed the two together? Quick! To Google I went, and saw that that beautiful chimera does indeed exist.

Maybe this is all old hat to you and you've seen and played them for years, but it's new to me and I think it's an intriguing idea.

And you know, now that I look at that third Nashville Tele SG I remember that Frank Marino from Mahogany Rush had a kinda Strat/SG mash-up.

Any of you ever came across an SG Tele hybrid?

Before I saw the pics, I thought it was going to be a Tele with the one cutaway shaped like an SG. It would still be bad but, not as bad. Morbid curiosity- are these bolt on or set neck?

The wound string part of the neck is glued in and the plain string part is bolted on?
