Ok an 80 dollar mug that keeps your coffee at an exact temperature is STUPID and UNNECESSARY. If i wan't my beverage to stay hot within a few degrees of what is was when i poured it (my mouth is not sophisticated enough to tell the difference between 136 degrees and 1 45 degrees or even 140 and 110 but ymmv)
anyway if i want to keep my beverage virtually the same temp as when i poured it I already have my Stanley insulated mug...it's 4 years old and even at work (unheated auto garage) I literally still have piping HOT coffee (too busy too drink sometimes) when I leave to go to lunch...yes that's right, over four hours later and my beverage is still as hot as it was when I poured it. I have also dropped the Stanley from three feet numerous times onto concrete and it keeps going...and it only cost me 22 dollars.
also it seems like fishy selling tactics (the oldest business tactic in the world...creating phoney supply and demand, a perception of "better buy now on impulse before there's none left")
look at this shite from their website
