Sriracha bottle cap unappreciation thread

The stop Siriacha campaign already failed. If the protesters couldn't stop production, the will not get the cap changed. Not a nozzles chance in Hell.

you know, there are quite a few mustard containers that have that very same twist top also.

you should start a movement, picket sriracha factories, hold some rallys......make them change it.

That sounds like a lot of work. Im just gonna bitch about it while sitting on my fat American ass.

Or in the parlance of our times, "Im raising awareness about the issue using social media."

Oh man, how I hate the sriracha top.

And even if it's just sitting in the fridge for a few days, this goo builds up all around it. Bad engineering!
The goo is especially questionable at restaurants. You know...that bottle that's on the table with some serious crust on the cap.

I've never understood the attraction. It's like Tabasco sauce, but with only half the flavor.

Tabasco is just hot vinegar.
cop0 watch it, Lester
Tabasco is the best stuff on earth.

Vinegar rich.I do like Tabasco, but in small amounts.
Hell ,I do a shot of vinegar every day.
I just don't want that much vinegar in my hot shtuff.

see....i find frank's and louisiana sauce too vinegary but not tabasco. i wish they made that very same sauce about 30% less hot, i'd do shots of that . i love the taste:shrug:

Franks Red Hot is my jam. Not so much for the heat, but I love the salty vinegary goodness. Its like eating a dill pickle with everything you put it on.

Franks is essential for wings. Franks, some melted butter, maybe a dash of Worcestershire if I'm feeling frisky...

Franks is just good. Not over the top.
I put that shit on everything

how many bottles of frank's went into battle in WWII, Korea, Vietnam?? oh wait....NONE!!
all of them had McIllheny's TABASCO......hmmmmm.

We never had Tabasco in our C Rats.
bastards!
i don't think they've done that since vietnam. although, every table in my mess halls had a bottle of tabasco on it.......but that was in texas, mississippi and georgia......mmm.......3 eggs over easy, grits, and tabasco (mixed together)....with a side of bacon and toast....mmmmm

Man...what a great product with terrible packaging. If you take it out of the fridge and dont open the cap until 5 minutes later, it splatters hot sauce everywhere. Sometimes in your eye. If you dont clean it after each use, it gets clogged up. Then you get a deluge next time when you squeeze the bottle and the clog lets go.

Wake up sheeple!!!!! Sriracha cap is a bad design!!!!

SOLVED !! Had this problem for ages, now FIXED !! Simply leave the cap on but unscrew and then pop the tip of the nozzle off with your hands , now snap off the green narrow shitty nozzle part which has been exposed , this is the culprit. throw that away, pop the nozzle back on and VOILA !! (This post represents years of intensive research)

I can appreciate the passion of a person who signs up in a guitar forum to resurrect a 3 year old thread to post his sriracha cap hack.
