Like DdBob and the new Rolling Stones album, I haven't seen the new Rogue One. But I apparently don't need to have any basis to my opinion in order for it to be valid, so here you go. :tongue:
 
While I'm not quite as down on Brooks as frunobulax is, his post-HOTWpt.1 work (including Spaceballs) is borderline cringeworthy. The Jewish humor was already stale, and then he decided to try the Zucker/Abrahams/Zucker route afterward with "Robin Hood: Men in Tights" and failed miserably. Love MB, but Spaceballs is FAR from his best work.
 
I like most of Mel's films. But I was a kid when his last few as a director came out :shrug:
